I caught myself thinking, this morning, "what's more fun that playing an instrument so joyous as a ukulele? Surrounding yourself with other people who take joy in its delightful sound!"

Ukulele Boudoir Festival, Saturday, June 3rd.... there's actually no more information yet on this one. Somewhere in France?

Ohgosh, if I had known about the one in Reno -- that is a great train ride, and the lineup looks awesome!

The one outside of St. Louis, on the other hand, is... not that unreasonable from here...

Yeah, I'm seriously eyeing the festival in Missouri. It's about a seven-hour drive from here, or a 5 hour drive from my parents' cabin... it also looks well-organized and not overwhelming for a beginner.
