I had a surprise ukulele encounter on my vacation (aside from my chance to play in front of the Hollywood sign). There's a Chuck Jones animation gallery in Santa Fe, New Mexico, which neither I nor my hostess knew until we wandered past it. What should be inside but a signed cel of Daffy Duck and Porky Pig, playing the ukulele and hula dancing, respectively?
Apparently it comes from a Merrie Melodies/Looney Tunes episode called "Hula Lei Lei," though I might be mistaken, because YouTube turns up nothing. Has anyone seen this before?
